motivation to do some elaborate cooking after a long working day and that's
why I mostly try out new recipes on the weekend.
To complement the lack of omega 3's, I also use nutritional supplements.
Some people will tell you that you should use omega 3 pills on a daily basis
without any interruption. I don't agree with this, I think, if you have a
healthy and balanced diet, there is no need to take omega 3 pills 365 days a
year. I usually take omega 3 supplements for a full month and then I take a
break of about 3 month before I start taking omega 3 pills again for one
month and so on.
Now, when you take omega 3 supplements, it is important to use only a
high quality product. The problem with most omega 3 supplements is that
the concentration of omega 3 fatty acids is very low and most of these
supplements contain only omega 3 fatty acids, but no omega 6 and omega 9
fatty acids, which are equally important - these kinds of products are
worthless, don't waste your money on them.
For the last 2 years I used an omega 3 supplement called: Hypercet Omega 3-6-9 and I have to say this is probably the best omega 3 supplement I found
so far.
